Marie Jean Baptiste is the founder and designer of contemporary women's wear line, Rue 107. Marie was Born in Haiti and immigrated to Brooklyn, NY at the age of 13. Baptiste was exposed to versatile cultures and lifestyles which have influenced her brand and designs. In the summer of 2010, Baptiste launched her line, Rue 107. With a cheeky approach to pop culture and a keen eye on trends, Marie blends vintage styles, bold hues and feminine silhouettes to create edgy designs that celebrate individual style.
